Don’t Wait Until January
Build next year’s momentum starting this fall.
If your Cincinnati real estate career isn’t where you want it to be, it’s tempting to look toward January as the time for a fresh start. New year. New goals. New business plan. But waiting until January can put you months behind. The agents who start making changes this fall can enter the new year with better habits, a stronger pipeline, and real momentum already working in their favor.
Your January Business Starts Months Earlier
Real estate has a long runway. The conversations you start today may turn into appointments next month and closings several months from now. That means waiting until January to start prospecting, reconnecting with your database, or improving your skills could mean waiting until spring to see the results. Instead, use the fall to get ahead. Identify the activities that create business and start doing them consistently now.
Figure Out What Is Holding You Back
Start by taking an objective look at your business. Where did your last five clients come from? How many new real estate conversations are you having each week? Do you have a consistent follow-up system? Who holds you accountable when those activities aren’t happening? If you don’t have clear answers, effort may not be the problem. You may be missing the systems and support needed to turn that effort into consistent production. This is where the right real estate team can make a significant difference.
The Right Environment Changes Your Results
At The Chabris Group, agents don’t have to build every part of the business alone. Our agents have access to leads, coaching, training, marketing, administrative support, accountability, and proven systems designed to help them focus on clients and sales. That support gives agents more time and resources to focus on what matters most: their clients.
Pam Nichols recently shared this Google review:
“Karie Dupps at [The Chabris Group] was amazing! She went above and beyond to help us get a house and understand everything! She was with me the whole way! I would recommend her and this group for sure. If we everything buy or sell we will look her up!”
That’s what Relentless Representation and Exceptional Experiences looks like in practice. You still have to do the work. But having a proven roadmap, experienced people around you, and accountability can make it much easier to know what work actually matters. Helping agents become more skilled, prepared, and productive gives them greater capacity to deliver that experience to buyers and sellers throughout Cincinnati.
Give Yourself a Head Start
You don’t need to wait for January 1 to change the direction of your career. Use this fall to strengthen your lead generation. Reconnect with your database. Improve your skills. Find better accountability. Most importantly, take an honest look at whether your current environment is helping you become the Realtor you want to be. January shouldn’t be when you start building momentum. It should be when that momentum starts paying off. If you’re a newly licensed Realtor or a full-time Cincinnati real estate agent closing fewer than 12 homes per year, explore what building your career with The Chabris Group could look like.
