Christie Fox-Mathis was born and raised in Cincinnati and graduated from Indian Hill High School, subsequently attending the University of Toledo. She has called Sycamore home with her family since 2009. She brings over 10 years of real estate sales experience to The Chabris Group, being licensed in 2008. In Our Neighborhood
The Village of Sycamore was named after the Sycamore Creek in Wyandot County. Located in Sycamore Township, the village was founded in 1842. Sycamore, whose mayor is Matt Boucher, is a farming community that hosts over 43 small businesses in the immediate area. As of the census of 2010, there were 861 people located in the village. A popular place to visit is the Mohawk Community Library, which is directed by Susan Runion. The library hosts many activities including the Kidz Klub and Movie Night for area youths. There is a multitude of restaurants in town that can satisfy anyone’s culinary tastes. Sycamore also features the Sycamore Telephone Company, which is locally owned and operated and has been in business for over 100 years. Banking needs can also be taken care of at the First National Bank of Sycamore, which was founded in 1919.
